Tour Itinerary

Find out the details of what to expect on a powered paragliding tandem tour

  • Pick up from the meeting point outside Mama Toucans in Dominical

  • The tour group rides in our vehicle to the take-off area. As powered paragliding relies on the wind we choose the most appropriate take-off on the day, either at the beach or in a large field based on the days conditions.

  • Enjoy the surrounding area whilst our professional pilots set-up their equipment and carry out daily safety pre-flight checks

  • Your pilot will clip you into your harness and helmet, and give you a take-off briefing.

  • Time to fly! Take-off from the ground and start your ascent to get the best views of the pacific coast of Costa Rica.

  • Enjoy your powered paragliding flight over some of Costa Rica’s most beautiful coastline.

  • Land safely back in the same place you took off from.

  • The shuttle returns you back to the meeting point.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Each Powered Paragliding tandem flight includes:

  • Shuttle pick-up from Dominical to the designated take-off area

  • Your choice of flight package:

    • The Deluxe Tour: 1 x 15-20 minute tandem flight over the coast

    • The Elite Tour: 1 x 35-40 minute flight flying over the Bahia Ballena National Park or other area of outstanding beauty.

  • Return shuttle to pick-up location

  • All safety equipment including harness and helmet

  • Photo experience add-on package available to purchase on the day for $50 (USD). Our pilots will take your inflight pictures and you can choose to purchase your photos once you’ve landed and looked at them.

The Deluxe Tour

This tour takes you on the most scenic ride along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Enjoy the marine and jungle life from above as you fly over pristine beaches with views of the ocean and beyond.

The Elite Tour

$240 DOLLARS 35-40 MINUTES

Discover the best parts of Costa Rica as you’ve never seen them before as you glide above natures most breathtaking attractions at the Bahia Ballena National Park or area of outstanding beauty.

The flight path is planned based on the days weather and wind conditions

SAFETY FIRST

While we promise enjoyment and fun we never compromise on safety. Analysing the take-off site and weather conditions on the day is our first step to getting you safely in the air.

All our pilots are licensed tandem instructors, meaning you can relax, knowing our pilots have been through high-quality training to fly you safely.

Prior to your flight you will be given a safety briefing and clipped into your harness and helmet. Our pilots will give you clear instructions which you must follow at all times from launch to landing – following their guidance will ensure the safety of your flight.

WHO CAN FLY?

To ensure the safety of our passengers and pilots there is a maximum weight limit of 85kg (187lbs) and a minimum weight of 30kg (66lbs) but we do not put an age limit on the fun of flying. Passengers must also be comfortable with a fast jog for take-off and landing.
